The Ford Rouge Factory Tour has completed a $4.7-million upgrade to better tell the story of the new Ford F-150 pickup.
Think lasers, 3D projections, interactive displays and winking robots.
The Rouge tour, part of the Henry Ford museum, offers the public a look at a working auto assembly plant. The original tour opened 10 years ago and with funding from the Ford Motor Co., has reinvented itself alongside the F-150 pickup that visitors can watch being built.
The tour also includes a historic display of key antique vehicles and two theaters with films and displays.
